Been playin' in da fabric

Check out my vege fabric wall hanging.

So I had this group of colorful vege(broccoli, mushrooms, corn, beets and the like) fabric that I bought from Hancocks of Paducah a few years back. What the heck was I going to do with it? Here is what I came up with. Hope you like it. I decided to send it to my youngest sister Trudy, who lives in South Florida.
I think it looks pretty good hanging on my back fence too.

A couple of finished whippys

This sweet little fawn brindle went to live in Massachusetts.

And this little guy, named Teddy, will live right here in the Pacific Northwest.
Both dogs are needled felted from Norwegian wool. Teddy has armature in his legs. Each has its own beaded collar and lies on a colorful felted mat.

Oh me oh my

I have been a very bad girl and haven't posted in two whole weeks. Seriously though, everything I am working on is in various stages of completion..Ha, imagine that, me having 6 or more irons in the fire. Plus, we snuck down to California for a much needed SUN break. We have not had a bit of Spring this year and we are a week and a half away from SUMMER!!! What the heck is going on here. Anyway, here's a picture of the boys doing what they do best!!

Just playing in me studio

Here's my take on an Asian inspired wall hanging. I'm giving this to my Nephew and his wife. I sure hope they like it.
Remember the moose. Have been working on him and will post a pic or two soon.

I've been working, honest!

Since I've been back from the National I've been playing catch up.
I've made this quilt for my friends soon to be 90 year old mother. It has pictures of the grand and great grand kids.
This Whippet named Nickelby sits a whopping 12 inches tall..What was I thinking..That's a whole lot of poking!!
And, I made this 15 inch Polar bear, He is made from Alpaca and is stuffed with polyfil and pellets.
Thanks for looking!!
