Meet Sandy

Hey everybody, I'm Sandy. Mom just finished me. I'm a fawn and white whippet. I'm about 5 inches tall and sit on this spiffy felted mat that mom made and sport a beaded collar. I'll be going up for auction on Ebay soon. Thanks for looking. The auction is over and Sandy now has a new home in Florida.

Sooo cute!!! I love your needle felt creations! They're adorable!

Can you give me any advice as to where I could find very small, black, round, shiny beads for eyes. I needle felted a dog recently and can't seem to find beads small enough for it's eyes. The smallest I've found are too big. I tried some seed beads but I'd prefer round instead of oval and they're too big too. The next size down is still oval and too small. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Cheryl,

The only suggestion I have is to use onyx bead eyes. I have some 2mm round onyx bead and they are pretty small. Just Google "onyx beads". Hope this helps.

I love your dogs (both live and felted)! I share office space with my border collie and my co-worker's retired greyhound. Yes, we're dog lovers! You'll see Lacy, my rescued mostly border collie on my site, http://Seabreezespinners.com/
