Finally finished this BIG Horse

Wow, that was alot of poking, poking and poking. He is finally done and I decided not to work on him anymore. He stands 11" high and is 11" long, man that's alot of poking.
LOL, I've already started on another one. For those of you not familiar with hand needle felting please go to Jan 16th blog to get a better idea. I'm thinking he's not too bad for my first one. Thanks for looking and don't forget to post a comment.

Wow. I'm still not real clear on how that bunch of wood becomes the formed thing....Is it glued? Still, I am very impressed.

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments, Patience, Linda, Mel, Bill and Celeste.

Celeste,

No glue is used in this process. All the work is done by the felting needle.

Vee

Wow!
He is amazing! That is alot of poking! I have made some very small needle felted dogs (1 1/2 - 2 inches) and it is a lot of work. Your horse is a masterpiece. Great work! I cannot wait to see your new one as you post pics.

Melissa, well then you know what it takes to make one of these larger porjects. Thanks for the compliment.

Simba, Thanks so much the complement. LOL, he's not quite big enough for you to ride.
